Fredi Shapiro, LCSW-R

Ms. Shapiro has extensive experience treating children, adolescents, young adults and their parents in a variety of settings who have had anxiety, depression, disruptive/oppositional behavior disorders, and traumatic adjustments to loss, self harm and relational issues. Ms. Shapiro specializes in the treatment of children, youth and families who struggle with managing emotions and engaging in impulsive behaviors. She also works with clients who have relationship difficulties, substance abuse, as well as suicidal and non-suicidal self-injurious behaviors. Ms. Shapiro has intensive training in evidenced based treatments, including Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Anger Replacement Therapy.
